summary:The paper deals with linear transformations of harmonizable locally stationary random processes. Necessary and sufficient conditions under which a linear transformation defines again a locally stationary process are given

Comparison of selected parameters for evaluation of rail surface damage intensity

    Get PDF
This paper deals with the issue of evaluation of a rail surface damage (RSD) intensity. Some ways of calculating parameters that represent the RSD are described. In this context, a multi-body model of a railway vehicle was created and several simulations of this model on a curved track were performed. Furthermore, these simulations were evaluated and the RSD parameters were compared

Vehicle/track interaction under the conditions of high speed railway operation

This paper deals with the issue of dynamic effects of a high-speed railway vehicle on the track. Some aspects of vehicle/track interaction at higher speeds are described. In this context, a multi-body model of high-speed railway vehicle was created and several simulation scenarios were performed with this model. Furthermore, the simulations were evaluated with a focus on selected characteristics of the vehicle/track interaction

Comparison of Czech and Slovak proverbs based on the paremiological minimum

The work focuses on the comparison of the most frequently used proverbs in Czech and Slovak. Based on the paremiological minimums of Schindler (1993) and Ďurčo (2005) a "paremiological minumum of Czech and Slovak" was created, including 37 pairs of proverbs. The data collection took place in a subcorpus of Czech corpus syn_v11 and Slovak subcorpus prim-10.0-public-vyv. The subcorpuses were adjusted to have a balanced representation of different types of text. The aim of this work is to compare the frequency and variants of the 37 proverbs in Czech and Slovak. The most frequent variants of Czech proverbs are also divided based on their text type (newspapers nad journals, fiction and science). The prediction is high appearance of proverbs in newspapers and journals. The work is a first step to a systematic comparison of Czech and Slovak proverbs. U češtiny zároveň sleduji zastoupení přísloví v publicistice, beletrii a oborové literatuře. Předpokladem je vyšší zastoupení přísloví v publicistice. Práce je prvním krokem k systematické komparaci českých a slovenských přísloví.Ústav českého jazyka a teorie komunikaceInstitute of Czech Language and Theory of CommunicationFaculty of ArtsFilozofická fakult

Statistical Process Control with SW Support

The contribution deals with the analysis of situation in a manufacturing process by application of SPC methods. The approach is described by use of methodological schemes together with attention to problems that can occur by noncorrect usage of statistical tools. The contribution contains also an illustrative example of data analysis by application of a suitable software
